File a Grievance

IBSA Online Complaint Registration Process

The Internet Business Standards Association is an international alliance of online businesses.

The process is designed to be as clear and as streamlined as possible.

During this process, we will ask you several questions about you, the website and/or company you are dissatisfied with, and the complaint itself.

Please fill in all the applicable fields; this will save a considerable amount of time later on and allow for a much speedier resolution of your complaint.

Have You Contacted the Company Directly Concerning Your Complaint?

The IBSA suggests that before you proceed with our Online Complaint Registration Process, you try contacting the company you are dissatisfied with.

IBSA member businesses are usually more than happy to deal with all reasonable complaints in a quick and effective manner if they are notified that there is a problem.

If you are still not satisfied after contacting the company, we will be glad to assist you.

Please note that the Internet Business Standards Association does not take sides during the Complaint Process. However, one of our central missions is to communicate any customer dissatisfaction to our member businesses.

Your complaint will not be ignored.

Complaints the IBSA handles

The IBSA is happy to listen to any complaint you may have about a website's business practices. However, our central concern is to handles all complaints against GOLDEN SEAL bearers (sites legally displaying the IBSA GOLDEN SEAL) that specifically contravene the IBSA Code of Conduct.

The IBSA Code of Conduct covers:

Unfulfilled Contracts
Credit/Billing Problems
Unsatisfactory Service
Unhonored Guarantees, Warranties
Misrepresentation
Non-delivery of Goods and Services
Improper Selling Practices
